Wayne Carini, Chasing Classic Cars TV/F40 Motorsports

With a lifetime of experience in automobile restoration under his belt, master car restorer Wayne Carini has a resume that includes body and paint work on rare car collections owned by the likes of David Letterman, tennis great Ivan Lendl and the DuPont family. He's been featured in the New York Times as well as numerous automobile magazines, starred in two one-hour television specials, and now the widely popular Velocity television series Chasing Classic Cars. The owners of the most exclusive and secret garages open up their doors only to him as Wayne is truly one of the world’s foremost experts on preparing, and offering collector automobiles at auction.

 

Jim Menneto, Hemmings Motor News

Jim Menneto has been President and Publisher of Hemming’s Motor News since May of 2002 when parent company American City Business Journals purchased it. Jim has been with American City for close to 30 years starting as the Advertising Director at the Capital District Review in Albany, New York where he was promoted to Publisher within 3 months. He then went on to become Publisher of the Boston Business Journal a post he held for 13 years. Jim also was a Dale Carnegie Sales Course Instructor for many years and served with the USMC in Viet Nam as a Medic. As a life- long car enthusiast and Instrument rated pilot Hemming’s allows Jim to have a career immersed in what he loves to do.


 

Chris Baker, Michelin North America

Chris Baker is Director of Motorsports for Michelin North America. In this role, he is responsible for motorsports and small-volume specialty vehicle manufacturer / tuner programs for both the Michelin and BFGoodrich brands for the United States, Canada and Mexico. Baker oversees all aspects of Michelin’s motorsports engagements in North America to include marketing, activation, local (North American) racing product development and team support. He also works to coordinate the company’s global motorsports efforts. Throughout his career, Baker has held numerous research scientist and team leader positions for passenger-car and light truck product research. Baker has also served as Passenger Car and Light Truck Product Research Manager at MNA’s subsidiary, Michelin Americas Research Company.

 

Wade Kawasaki, Coker Tire/SEMA Hall of Fame (Moderator)

Wade Kawasaki is one of the automotive hobby’s most influential business leaders with more than 30 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket. Kawasaki was introduced to the hobby at 10 years old when he began working for his father at a local Shell station. In the following years, Kawasaki worked for a number of SEMA member companies and in 1987, founded Exports International – a company his wife, Rose, runs today – specializing in the wholesale distribution and export of American-made automotive aftermarket products to overseas customers. Currently, Kawasaki serves as the Executive Vice President of The Coker Group where he is responsible for overseeing new business acquisitions, structuring global distribution and manufacturing, as well as managing corporate governance, marketing and overall corporate infrastructure.
