With less than 125 miles since its completion on March 1, 2013 with virtually no detail or expense spared, this fully streetable Corvette reported to run and drive as well as it looks. Power is provided by a brand new ‘ZZ’ 383 stroker crate motor dynoed by Arizona Speed and Marine at a heart-pumping 428 horsepower, with fuel delivered by an eye-popping, custom-polished Ram Jet EFI unit built by Arizona Speed and Marine, which has been modified to resemble the Rochester fuel-injection units on Corvettes from the late-1950s to the mid-1960s. A smooth Tremec TKO-600 5-speed combined with Hurst shifter further sets the pace. Other great features include a B&B Streetrod polished serpentine belt-drive system and 2 ½-inch Hooker Headers feeding the Magnaflow performance exhaust system. The rear end is a 3.70:1 Corvette unit and custom Baer 4-wheel disc brakes with stainless-steel braided lines provide excellent stopping.

Other upgrades include a black powder-coated 1964 Corvette frame equipped with Shark Bite polished upper and lower tubular A-arms, offset trailing arm assembly, fiberglass rear spring, front and rear sway bars, and a Steeroids rack-and-pinion. The stainless-steel gas tank is by Rock Valley and equipped with an electric fuel pump. Wiring is by Haywire. Vintage air conditioning and heating provides year-round comfort and the polished DeWitt aluminum big-block radiator is equipped with electric fans to ensure the car runs cool.

The interior is equally impressive and features new Corvette C5 Sport leather seats in black with red accents, plus all new door panels, carpeting, headliner, and dash. A black urethane Momo “Devil” steering wheel with top grain black and red leather inserts crowns the custom tilt steering column. Additional features include power windows and power door locks along with a top-of-the-line Viper alarm system and a Classic AM/FM stereo with MP3 connection. Dakota Digital gauges monitor vital functions. The striking show-quality black and red paint finish is handsomely complemented by a custom 1967 Corvette big-block hood with red stinger, 18X8 Foose 'Knuckle' wheels wheels, and new BFG Comp T/A radials measuring 235/40ZR18 front and 245/45ZR18 rear. A quality build with attention to detail, this 1964 Corvette resto-mod is sure to please.
