Raced by world-famous driver Mario Andretti, this 1974 Eagle Indy Car (Chassis 74 06) is a true collector's item. Well-known as the Vel's Parnelli Jones Viceroy car, it was used in the 1974 Indy β€˜500’ race. Andretti qualified in the middle of the second row with an average speed of 186.027 mph, but was forced to retire due to a broken valve. Highlights include a 3rd place finish at the 1974 USAC National Championships in Phoenix, Arizona. The car was restored to original specs and 1974 Andretti/Viceroy livery. This is an older restoration.

The car is powered by a 36ΒΊ 4-cylinder turbo Offenhauser engine which produces a staggering 1,000-plus hp. The period-correct car also has a Hewland LG500 MKII (4- speed), original Eagle cast-magnesium wheels (Fronts 15X10, Rears 15X14) and an aluminum monocoque.

Dimensions/Specs:
