This 997 style Porsche GT2 is the most capable Porsche model available and can be found on many race tracks and has become a staple in the competitive automobile racing. This 2008 model Carrera 911 GT2 has just 18 original miles. It has never been driven on a public road or any race track. Only 200 examples were made for the U.S. making it a highly sought after vehicle and rarely found on the pre-owned marketplace. In addition to being rare, this is a special order car and one of the first delivered to the United States. It was crafted to meet the buyer’s specific aesthetic taste and needs. The window sticker reflects a value of over $220,000. Over $20,000 worth of options have been added including Carbon Package, Navigation, Sport Chrono, BOSE sound, PCM Package, Full Leather Interior and much more.
Upon its release, the 2008 Porsche 911 GT2 was the most powerful vehicle ever released by Porsche. It debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. According to records, Porsche Motorsports spent over 100,000 hours in order to turn out this updated GT2 making this particular year model a technologically advanced machine. This car is a stripped down version of the 911 Turbo, it is 10% lighter and 10% more powerful. It is also an inch lower and boasts a high-performance experience thanks to its 530hp rated 3.6L V6 engine which sends raw and invigorating power to the rear wheels. Other racing derived features include two exhaust gas turbochargers featuring variable turbine geometry, large air intakes at the front and the rear wing and muffler, true race-inspired bucket seats and tailpipes made of titanium.
