After a 30-month restoration, by Paul Mellenger who is now with Lonestar Vintage in Huston. This car was first shown at the Dallas symphony ASSN Concours D'Elegance in April 1994, where it was awarded First in Class. It was then entered for a judged competition in the Tulsa, Ok; Austin, TX; San Antonio, TX; Dallas, TX; and Houston, TX; and Jaguar Clubs of North America affiliate association's annual events. The resulting scores were sent to JCNA for tabulation and comparison to cars in each class, entered for competition around the country. This Jaguar received the ranking of 3rd in the nation for 1994, for JCNA Class 5(1995 JCNA magazine provided)! It has been awarded First in Class in nine competitions, (all events entered plaques provided), and with its final showing was given 100 pts. It is still in that condition, living in AC comfort the last 13 years. It has accumulated approximately 8800 yards since the restoration was completed.
Every detail has been researched and is correct to 1965 Jaguar specifications, including color of exterior and interior. (E-Jag magazine from 1980 provided) I call it my 1 x 1 scale model; my wife calls it "The Trailer Queen," and its time for a new owner to enjoy its fine lines and details.
