This factory-original 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda 2 door Hardtop was comprehensively restored to show-condition using over 200 new-old-stock parts. Finished in alluring FE5 Red, it features a 4-speed transmission with factory pistol grip shifter, 3.54 Dana rear end, factory billboards, rear seat speaker option wheel lip moldings, rallye wheels, rear wing and rubber front and rear bumpers.
The new old stock - not reproduction - parts used in the restoration include the grill, hood including Shaker parts, windshield, dash pad, tail lights, guages, heater motor, wiper motor, hood latch, a complete NOS exhaust system and more. Apart from the hood, the car retains all its original sheetmetal; the car originated in dry west Texas and thus never rusted. All finishes seen under the hood are factory original or NOS, not recoated or refinished! The engine is correct and the car has its original fender tag, documented by a full 15-page authenticity report completed by the one and only Galen Govier.
The fit and finish resulting from such a careful restoration makes this car second to none. Naturally, the underneath is as beautiful as it is on top. As one of 5 red 4 speeds known, the only one with factory billboards as well as the only one of the 5 without a vinyl top from the factory.
