Russo and Steele Expands and Improves for January 2006

Niche Collector Automobile Auction Features European Sports, American Muscle, Hot Rods and Customs in N. Scottsdale

Scottsdale, AZ. (Nov 23, 2005) -- The 6th Annual Russo and Steele Collector Automobile Auction comes roaring into Scottsdale, January 20 and 21 with the finest European Sports Cars, American Muscle Cars, Hot Rods and Customs. This niche auction has drawn praise from the true car hobbyist as an auction that delivers a "high touch" experience, allowing the buyers and sellers good access to the automobiles. The January, 2006 auction brings an improved site, including double the tent space, a paved roadway, and increased hospitality services in the car display midways. "Our general public audience has been growing every year and we wanted to deliver a larger experience for them," said Drew Alcazar, owner of Russo and Steele Collector Automobiles. The general public pays a $10 daily gate fee and is welcome to wander about the car display area, enjoying the automobiles, vendor displays and high line concessions.

One of the unique aspects of this event is the auction-in-the-round format designed for the bidders and their guests complete with pulsating music and visual effects to stimulate the crowd. This year marks an improved auction block experience as seating has been expanded by 40 percent to accommodate the interested buyers. Only registered bidders, consignors and their guests may enter the auction tent and enjoy the full bar and catered dinner. Bidder registration is $75, plus $25 for a guest.

The auction is staged under the big top tents on the North loop 101 Freeway and Scottsdale Road. Gates will open at 10 a.m. daily and the auction begins at 1 p.m. both days with a celebrity memorabilia auction, followed by the car sale.

Consignments of quality cars are still being accepted. For more information on consigning, registering to bid or to attend the general public events, log onto www.russoandsteele.com.
