A Day Added and a New Time Announced for Russo and Steele Memorabilia Auction
Scottsdale, AZ. (Jan 4, 2006) -- Due to incredible demand for the Russo and Steele Collector Car Auction, the Celebrity Memorabilia Auction associated with the car auction will start at noon rather than the previously announced start time of 1 p.m., and a third memorabilia sale day has been added. The celebrity auction precedes the car sale on January 20, 21 and 22 in the main auction arena in north Scottsdale. Collectors of celebrity memorabilia will delight in the extensive offerings including: Tom Cruise's pistol from Mission Impossible, Henry Ford documentation, guitars autographed by Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and Van Halen. Autographed celebrity photos and celebrity signatures include those from the Beatles, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, along with the cast of Easy Rider and many others.The memorabilia auction is staged by Kevin Martin, a name synonymous with authentic and museum quality selections. Some of his clients include the Disney Corporation, Hard Rock CafČ, Planet Hollywood, and the National Archives.
Auction Details and Dates: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 20, 21, 22 2006 under the big top tents at Scottsdale Road just south of the North Loop 101 Freeway. Gates open at 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday for general admission, and 11 a.m. on Sunday. The memorabilia auction starts at noon each day, followed by the cars. More than 350 European Sports Cars, American Muscle Cars, Hot Rods and Customs will be offered for sale over the course of the weekend.
Those interested in attending memorabilia auction simply pay the $10 gate fee. Memorabilia bidders must provide credit card information to secure the possible purchases and pay for the selections at the time of purchase with either cash or credit card.
General Admission to the auction $10/per day and guests are welcome to enjoy the Auction Preview area and the new Vendor Midway. Registered bidders and their guests can enjoy the Main Auction Arena with Bidders passes available at $75 and accompanying guest at $25.
The Russo and Steele auction has doubled its tent space this year - up to 85,000 square feet under cover. The auction has also created an inviting midway area with food and beverage services, along with vendor booths for the guests to enjoy. Other site improvements include a large paved parking lot.
